Letters From Camp

Not all children get to experience camp. Too expensive or too far away. Or not interested.

Imagine your character does travel off in a bus, to a remote spot far from home.

He’s put in a cabin with a bunch of other boys. Some seem nice, but then there are the bullies.

Or perhaps she’s afraid to take the swimming test as her cabin mates look on. Or maybe it’s the horses that frighten her. Living outside in the dark? Terrifying.

Your task is to write a story of an adult looking back on camp. Perhaps he’s sharing experiences at a backyard BBQ. Or maybe she’s applying for a job and lists her time in camp.

            Have fun with this one.
